starting to think about happiness as something that could be attained every day instead of something you chase for years and years until the conditions are absolutely perfect
be healthily sensitive. tell them you’re hurt when you’re hurt. describe what hurt you. no silent treatment and passive aggressiveness. be honest. don’t compromise your emotion. don’t bottle it up. weigh the issue. understand and maybe, forgive.

Coming from someone who studies the Holocaust and the history surrounding it, It is important to remember that Nazis were human, not monsters.
It’s important because if we dehumanize them we create a level of separation between us and them. It’s important because if we create that level of removal, we start ignoring the subtle signs of antisemitism because “Oh, well they’re just a normal human, not a monster, i’m sure it’ll be alright.” It’s important because when we create that level of removal, they come back in waves. It’s important because when you create that level of separation, you get the problems that we have now.
No one’s saying this so I guess I’ve gotta: no more shirtless scenes for men if the actors gotta starve himself. Its just as bad as woman being forced to lose weight for a needless sex scene/photshoot what have you. If it endagers the health of the individual it should not be encouraged.
the news about chadwick boseman is so… genuinely unexpected, i thought he had his whole career in front of him, he was so young and doing so well. the announcement made me feel cold all over. i wish his family all the love and support in the world, this is horrible
